The training system is a basement on height-adjustable legs. A vertical rod equipped with an optical sensor is mounted in the base. A beam to determine the Young’s modulus is fixed on the upper bracket. The beam is loaded with masses and its deflection is detected by a dial indicator. A spring hung on the bracket is used to determine the shear modulus.
An electronic stopwatch is used for timing the pendulum oscillations. A four-digit display and controls are located on the stopwatch front panel.
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
