The unit is performed as a basement with a fixed vertical rod. An optical sensor with adjustable height is fixed on the rod as well as blocks having a thread and loads hanging on its ends. Loads weight may be gained with kettlebells. In the initial condition one of the loads is fixed with the electromagnet fixed on the rod at the lowest point. The necessary number of kettlebells is put down on the second load. During the experiment the electromagnet is being switched off, and simultaneously the stopwatch is starting. The loads start to move, and consequently the heavier load goes down with acceleration. After passing the window of the optical sensor by the load, the stopwatch stops.
On the rod is installed a ruler for reading the height of the weight fall.
The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
