The training laboratory unit is designed for practical and laboratory classes on studying construction and maintenance of a gasoline engine with belt driven with gas distribution mechanism, based on the VW engine, study it’s operating principles and behavior. The bench also allows students to develop the initial skills on technical maintenance and diagnostics of an engine according to such educational courses as “Automobile structure and exploitation”, “The structure of automotive vehicles”, “Exploitation of automotive vehicles”, “The construction and computation of automotive vehicles”, “Technical exploitation and maintenance of automobiles” and so on.
