The training laboratory stand is dedicated for using it as a training equipment at secondary specialized colleges and higher education establishments to perform laboratory works dedicated to studying the vehicle design and forming based knowledges about vehicle structure.

Structurally, the stand represented with Volkswagen Polo vehicle with functional cuts at frontal and back doors with a faults input unit.

Faults input unit is a frame from aluminium profile with a front panel.  At the front panel are drawn electric circuits for pick up switching, sensor configuration in engine space, well as a USB interface connector, a power circuit fuse, and a circuit breaker. Inside the control unit are mounted a power supply, a communication board with a computer and a relay board.

Faults are enabled from a computer using software. Troubleshooting is performed by connecting the auto scanner to the diagnostic socket of the car.

The training laboratory stand is accompanied with:

  • a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
  • software allowing faults input into car electrical system.
