The educational laboratory stand is designed for studying the device, operating principle, and basic programming of the programmable logic controller (PLC), as well as its technical characteristics. It also covers the use of timers, counters, and touch monitors for developing and implementing automation system control algorithms.

Structurally the equipment consists of two parts:
  • body, which contains electrical equipment, electronic boards, front panel and worktop of integrated desktop;
  • machine unit (spark), containing two electrical machines: asynchronous electrical motor with squirrel-caged rotor and direct current motor with separate excitation. Optical speed sensor is installed on machine unit.

The stand is accompanied with a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff.
