The training laboratory system is designed to study PID controller and the variants of its using in industry during the construction of automated control systems.

Structurally, the training system consists of the laboratory training unit and technological reservoir with liquid, which is the investigated object.

The unit consists of the case and front panel, in which the model of automation object (technological reservoir) and main system components are depicted:

  • supply pump;
  • inlet valve;
  • outlet valve;
  • level sensors;
  • flow sensor.

The investigated object is metal frame, on which liquid reservoir, piping, execution devices are fixed:

  • pump;
  • valve with electric drive;
  • flow meter;
  • level sensors;
  • electromagnetic valve.

The connection of investigated object to the system is done, using DB25 socket.

The training system is supplied with:

  • a set of teaching materials and technical documentation intended for the teaching staff;
  • software.

Experiments provided

  1. Study of OVEN PLC  characteristics.
  2. Study of  CodeSys programming environment.
  3. Study of LAD and FBD programming languages.
  4. Study the programming variants of PLC 73 by the example of automated subject (technological reservoir).
