The training laboratory equipment is dedicated for studying modern control methods of energy-effective lighting.

The present training laboratory equipment gives opportunity to study control methods of lighting via radio channel, via dedicated line based on the DALI protocol, using power grids and based on ZigBee modules.

Structurally, the stand consist of a housing where are installed electrical equipment, front panel and a integrated work table top. 

Functionally, the front panel is divided into sections:

  • power supply;
  • control based on ZigBee modules;
  • control based on PLC technologies;
  • control via radio channel;
  • control via dedicated line based on the DALI protocol.

During laboratory works performance are used led lighting fiхtures, dimming lights and lighting using LED strips.

The training system is supplied with technical and methodical documentation for teaching staff. 

Experiments provided

  1. Managing via dedicated line on the basis of DALI protocol.
  2. Managing via radio channel.
  3. Managing on the basis of PLC technology.
  4. Managing on the basis of ZigBee modules.
