Structurally, the training laboratory equipment consists of a laboratory unit and a control unit (electronic stopwatch).

The training system is a basement with a vertical rod on height-adjustable legs. The rod is equipped with an optical sensor, the position of which is height-adjustable. On the upper bracket a rotor with a replaceable ring, which is fixed by an electromagnet, is suspended on the threads. An electronic stopwatch is used for timing the fall of the cylindrical body.

The training system is supplied with technical and methodical documentation for teaching staff.

Studying the laws of dynamics of rotational motion of rigid bodies on the example of Maxwell’s pendulum.
Measurement of the inertia moment of a rigid body symmetrical about the axis of rotation.
